Gems and Jewelry Events: Bigger Stage Bolder Vision

The glittering city of Dubai is once again set to become the epicentre of the global jewellery and gemstone trade as the fourth edition of Jewellery Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) takes over the Dubai Exhibition Centre from November 11 to 13, 2025. With over 350 exhibitors from nearly 30 countries and regions, the B2B fair is gearing up to be its biggest and boldest yet, adding fresh features including a dedicated High Jewellery section, a much-expanded tech zone, and an exclusive new content programme.

This Gems and Jewelry Events news report highlights that this year’s edition introduces exhibitors from Armenia, Kazakhstan and Jordan for the first time, reflecting the fair’s growing appeal. The event, jointly organised by Informa Markets Jewellery and Italian Exhibition Group SpA (IEG), will occupy Halls 1 & 2 South of Expo City’s Dubai Exhibition Centre and showcase a robust mix of product categories such as fine and semi-finished jewellery, loose diamonds and coloured gemstones, lab-grown diamonds, packaging, and cutting-edge technology.

Prestigious Names and Pavilions

The fair’s High Jewellery exhibit will spotlight globally recognised exhibitors including Noor Gems Japan Ltd, Colorjewels (Hong Kong), Krainz Creations (USA), and Arjiv Exports (India). Enhancing the international flair, eight national and regional pavilions representing China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Türkiye and the US will offer curated collections that span the spectrum of craftsmanship, innovation, and style.

Dubai’s strategic industry partnerships will once again play a central role. The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) returns as the Official Partner while the Dubai Jewellery Group (DJG) continues as Industry Partner for the fourth consecutive year. These alliances reflect the strong local support for JGTD as a global B2B sourcing hub.

A Strategic Advantage for the Trade

Marco Carniello, Chief Business Officer at Italian Exhibition Group, emphasised that the 2025 edition of JGTD offers an enriched and diversified sourcing experience, enabling buyers to navigate every aspect of the jewellery value chain — from rough and polished stones to the latest in manufacturing tech and software.

“We’re proud to create a vibrant platform that reflects Dubai’s ambition as a trade and innovation hub,” Carniello noted. “The timing in November gives suppliers and buyers the advantage of preparing for both the end-of-year sales surge and the strategic planning of 2026 seasonal collections.”

Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery, echoed these sentiments, stating, “Dubai is the world’s jewellery sourcing capital this November. The current economic landscape makes such gatherings even more vital for industry stakeholders. Meeting face-to-face with quality suppliers and manufacturers is invaluable for understanding what lies ahead.”

Dubai’s Jewel in the Crown

The JGTD fair is more than just a sourcing event. It’s a melting pot of innovation, culture, and strategic networking. With visitors from nearly 120 countries in attendance last year and over 175 companies represented in organised buyer delegations, JGTD has earned its place as one of the most influential events on the jewellery industry calendar.

Chairman of Dubai Jewellery Group, Tawhid Abdulla, reinforced the significance of the event: “JGTD is not just about trade — it’s about shaping the future of our industry. From celebrating artistry and innovation to driving new business connections, the event embodies Dubai’s position as a global centre of excellence in gems and jewellery.”

Looking Ahead with Brilliance

As the jewellery world sets its sights on Dubai this November, JGTD is poised to deliver not only a dynamic sourcing platform but also a pulse check on global industry trends. With its expansion into high-value categories, inclusion of new regions, and growing focus on innovation, the event reinforces Dubai’s position as the ultimate destination for jewellery business and excellence.

By positioning itself at the heart of trade between East and West, JGTD continues to shape the narrative of the modern jewellery industry — one that values tradition while embracing change. The fourth edition is expected to build on its momentum, offering meaningful partnerships, high-impact networking, and an immersive experience for every professional in the sector.
